This policy explains what information Falako ("we", "us") collects through our products and how we use it. It applies to the Falako website and to all Falako apps and games (currently DragonLingo), and any additional products we release in the future (together, the "Services"). An individual app or game may show a short supplemental privacy notice for anything specific to it; where it does, that notice sits alongside this policy. We keep this deliberately short and honest.
The short version: we collect only what a product needs to work: your sign-in email and your progress. We do not sell your data, and we do not run third-party advertising.
Information we collect
Account: the email address you use to sign in (via a one-time magic code) and a display name you choose. We never see or store a password.
Progress & gameplay data: your activity within a product: characters practiced, lessons and levels completed, streaks, experience points, in-game items or currency, achievements, and settings. This is what lets a product pick up where you left off.
Optional profile: an avatar or friends you add, if you choose to.
Basic technical data: standard app and server logs (e.g. device type, error reports) used to keep the service running and fix bugs.
How we use it
To provide the product: save your progress, sync across devices, and personalize your experience.
To operate reliably: diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve features.
To contact you about your account if needed (e.g. a sign-in code).
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our products. They process data only to provide their service to us:
InstantDB: database, authentication, and sync.
Cloudflare: content delivery (images) and infrastructure.
App store platforms (Google Play, Apple) for distribution and, where applicable, payments, and we never receive your full payment details.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad tracking.
Data retention & your choices
We keep your account and progress data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Removing an app from your device does not delete your account data on its own; email us to erase it.
Children
Our products are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International
Falako operates internationally and data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is handled.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will revise the date above and, for material changes, note it in the relevant product or here.
